I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been invited to the Green Party of England and Wales exhibition in London at Hoxton Arches. I will be giving a talk and presentation on Tuesday the 18th of October during the private viewing & auction evening.

Craig Jones - Green Party

Green Creates is an art exhibition celebrating creativity and ‘Green Voices’ from around the UK and around the world. All 50 pieces, will appear in the exhibition catalogue, feature in the central London exhibition and in a fundraising auction.

I will be talking about my work from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Showing the effects the palm oil industry is having on this islands wildlife and people on the opening evening.

The Ecologist

Green Voice contributor, wildlife photographer Craig Jones captures the beauty of the natural world through his intense emotional attachment to his subject. “My love of wildlife started from a young age, learning to respect and care for wildlife was instilled in me by my late mother.” He adds: “I learnt very early on that once I came across a wild animal it was down to me how long that encounter would last.’

Jones will be talking about his work in Sumatra, which highlights the impact the palm oil industry on the island’s fauna, during the show. A captivating signed, limited edition photo of an Orangutan called Eye Contact will form part of the exhibition.

I will also be giving another presentation covering some of my other conservation work later on in the evening. If you’re going on the opening night I look forward to meeting you, and more details and an update after this event will be posted on a future blog post. I’m really pleased to be attended this event and showing my support to the Green party and their ethics in relation to our countryside, wildlife and its polices.
